Lucy Cavendish College is the Cambridge college exclusively for women over 21. Some听80 per cent of its undergraduates come from the UK with around a quarter of students coming from Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties.
You don鈥檛 have to be studying, or have A-levels, to attend the event. 探花直播day will include sample lectures, a tour of Lucy Cavendish College, and a talk on entrance requirements and how to apply. Participants will also have a chance to meet current students.
Students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and range in age from early 20s upwards. Esther Silva (pictured), who comes from West Yorkshire, is combining studying for a degree in law with bringing up a young daughter.
Senior Tutor at Lucy Cavendish, Dr Stephanie Ellington said: 鈥淭his is an amazing place and we want to make sure that every woman over 21 who is thinking of applying to do a degree knows that we are here.鈥
