A conference this week in Cambridge will help companies tap into the 拢1.7 billion market created by the 2012 London Olympics and the 拢160 billion global sports industry.
Keynote speakers at this year鈥檚 Technology Ventures Conference (TVC2010) include Arne Ljungqvist, Chair of the IOC Medical Commission and Vice President of the World Anti-Doping Agency, BBC Director of London 2012 Roger Mosey, World Champion Cyclist Graeme Obree (aka the Flying Scotsman) and Commonwealth swimming champion Mark Foster.
Other sessions will look at ways in which technology affects sport, how mobile apps and Web 2.0 might change the way consumers interact with sport and the controversial issue of how stem cell therapy, artificial intelligence and smart materials can enhance human performance.
